Graylynn Cheek (RSV)
As most already know Nathan and Jennifer Cheek’s newest arrival (9/12/22) had to be taken by EMS last night to Piedmont Athens Regional due to low oxygen levels as a result of RSV. Around 3:30am this morning Graylynn was transferred to Egleston (CHOA) for more advanced care. Once arriving at CHOA ER Graylynn was placed on high flow oxygen, though unfortunately it wasn’t helping enough and she began retracting worse (to the point that her head was bobbing), oxygen levels were also not rising above 94%, it was at this point that the team of ER doctors decided intubation was best to allow her little body to rest. As of 3:24pm they finally received a ICU bed.
Nathan and Jennifer are a one income family as Jennifer is a stay at home mother of 4 (Connor, Madeline, Willow and now sweet baby Graylynn). As of now they are looking at a week stay in Atlanta, though this could change. We understand times are hard for everyone, but this family (my family) needs your help. If you are unable to donate please cover them all in your prayers.
