If you know Graylan Hickman, you know that he was the life of the party! He loved his family and friends and had a heart of gold. He left a hole in the heart of his family and friends, which will never be filled.
In July 2019, he was diagnosed with End-Stage Renal Disease level 5 and Multiple Myeloma (Blood Cancer). Shortly afterward in October 2019, he lost his wife LaDonna of 31 years to Congestive Heart Failure.
While trying to maintain his declining health he was hospitalized on September 1, 2020. While in the hospital he contracted Covid- 19 and on Wednesday, October 21, 2020, he passed away from complications of Covid-19. Although, Covid-19 took him away from his family and friends they never had to question his love for them. He had plans of taking trips and going out to eat with his kids: Brittany and Carlos, along with his brothers.
He gave a true effort in trying to make sure that he took care of his family. Graylan purchased a life insurance policy in March 2020, but due to the two year wait period for his pre-existing health conditions, he passed away only seven short months after purchasing this policy, leaving his kids with burial cost.
We are asking for the help of others to give him the proper home going service as he wished. Any help would be greatly appreciated and we thank you from the bottom of our hearts!
