Sometimes when it rains, it pours.

For those that do not know me, my name is Graye Leigh, your favorite local in-home dog groomer.

Unfortunately, on 6/5/25, I was involved in a severe car accident. I was hit by a driver running a red light, and it has officially changed my life course.

After 4 hospital visits, a severe concussion, whiplash, and a likely fractured hand, I am finally able to put this together.

My family has helped me as much as humanly possible, but we are at a point of needing serious financial assistance regarding the aftermath of the accident. Groceries, bills, dog food, water, general essentials, vet bills, etc. Two of my dogs have been sick with a mysterious illness and require further treatment that I now cannot afford. If you would like to donate directly to the vet clinic they have been and continue to receive treatment. I am happy to send that info to you as well.

Not only am I out of work, but it could be up to 1 year until I regain full use of my hand again.

As a dog groomer, having two functioning hands is a non-negotiable. After spending two years building my house call grooming business, everything fell apart in a matter of seconds.

Due to these unfortunate circumstances, I will be focusing my energy on building my photography business.

I ask that if you are able to donate even $1, when I am at a point in recovery where I am able, I would like to offer a free 30-minute photoshoot in exchange for a donation. There is no minimum. All I ask for is patience and time in recovery prior to scheduling the shoot.
