Gravestone Monument For Anna LaFontaine
Donation protected
Our mother, Anna, focused her whole life on ministry and moving God's Word. All the money she ever made that didn't go to feeding her family went to moving the Word through giving or service. The Sisseton Wahpeton Oyate Tribe of Sisseton, South Dakota has been very generous in providing funds for funeral costs. Father Chan of St. Mary's Episcopal Church in Old Agency Village (her childhood church), along with the tribe, has made a final resting place available alongside her mother and many other relatives, as she had requested in her will. The funds raised here will be used to pay for our mother's Gravestone Monument and the engraving, stone slab base, and installation.
My mom was the most giving person I've ever known and she never asked for much. Instead, she always said, "You watch, God will provide." That was her retemory in all situations: broke, lost, hungry, thirsty. I wish we didn't have to ask for anything and we could provide for my mother, but times are tough right now as you know. In this situation my mother would turn to me, smile, rub my back, and say... God will provide.
Our goal is to raise the funds and place the order before the end of June, so that her Gravestone Monument can be installed before winter. Her Gravestone Monument will look similar to her mother's, shown here:
Thank you for helping anyway that you are able. God bless.
