Hey friends. It’s been a while since I’ve had the opportunity to travel to one of my favourite places in the world to make a new album - but that time is now - and that place is the eastern Canadian jewel of Halifax. I have (what I think is) a pretty rich and layered idea for a new album - and the best two people I could think of helping me with it would be my friend Charles Austin (Superfriendz, Neuseiland and engineer for Matt Mays, Joel Plaskett and so many more) who basically inspired me to go deeper down the musical road when I was a low-confidence 25 year old - and Melissa Payne (star fiddler and incredibly talented singer songwriter, guitarist and multi instrumentalist who collabs with Matt Mays, Blue Rodeo, Natalie McMaster and so many more).

As you can imagine, with the busy schedules of these two rad humans, pulling off a feat like this takes some travel (since Melissa is from Peterborough and I’m from Ottawa), accommodations and everything else. I have most of the recording and studio costs covered - but the post production, travel, accommodations and everything else will quickly add up.
