My name is Eri Hiraoka and this concerns my Japanese uncle, Masaya Nishimoto, a master modern day impressionist painter living in Spain for over 50 years. Now aged 94 and in failing health, Masaya's main passion in life has been his art. Sadly, he suffers from congestive heart failure and other serious ailments. Since last year, he has been in and out of the hospital and remains frail. He needs monitoring on a regular basis since he's no longer able to care for himself. Fortunately, he now has assistance from the local Red Cross who check in on him on weekdays. Contributions from this crowdfunding page have done much to help him.
