Our only brother, Ramon Martinez Ybarra, died unexpectedly this week. He asked for cremation, and we would like to include him in our family cemetery in Okemah, Oklahoma with a simple gravestone. Our family has always gathered in this cemetery, where several of our relatives are buried, including our grandparents and two of our uncles. It is a place of remembrance and connection for us.

Since Ramon did not marry and had no children, he expressed that he 'wanted people to know I was here.' Honoring his wish, we are raising funds to pay for a grave marker that will be placed alongside our loved ones. This marker will ensure that Ramon is remembered and included in our family’s history, just as he wanted.
