Help for indoor living space, post-surgery healing

August 2025:

Musician Jai Uttal has joined the support team which also includes Ojai's Dulanie (Ellis) LaBarre and Scott Carlson, as well as former Ojaian Dr. Kris Young (now retired in NYC), and others. All in leadership are looking foward to bringing awareness to those

in the world willing and able to share.

Ojai Ohana advocacy would also like to thank everyone in the larger community supporting this new Road To Wellness campaign. We are urgently seeking your assistance to help fund post-surgery recovery and an indoor living space to improve quailty of life.

Unhoused and currently living in a tent, surgery needed soon and navigation of the situation is extremely challenging.

Updates will be posted regularly. It won't be possible to go through these next steps without an indoor living space with the usual elements including a real bathroom with toilet, running water, sink, shower; plus the important ability to stay cool and to rest well. A kitchen to cook healthy food would also be welcome.
