During the recent storm, a storm that surpassed the blizzard of 78' local ironworker Matt Lyons climbed a tree to rescue Pixie, a cat who was stranded and unable to get down. While others were unable or unwilling to help, Matt stepped up without hesitation and safely brought Pixie down.

This fundraiser is not for hardship or emergency expenses. It’s simply a way for the community to say thank you for his kindness and willingness to help when it mattered.

If you’d like to contribute, consider it a gesture of appreciation for someone who didn’t ask for recognition — but deserves it.

All funds will go directly to Matt.
