I am Tabbatha Willis. As everyone may now know, our family has suffered an unimaginable tragedy. Shane’s family would like to take time to recognize the first responders of Mitchell, South Dakota. The family is extremely grateful for the care and compassion of the first responders, the good samaritans first on scene that we have met, and their heroic efforts in saving the babies of Shane and Melynda Willis, rescuing them from a burning vehicle. I am told the fire department arrived in four minutes. The babies arrived at the hospital within 10 minutes of the accident. Two nurses stayed with them for over 20 hours until family arrived from out of state. We are not asking for anything huge - only if you are so inclined to contribute (either here or through your own local donation) - we are sending the money directly to first responders in these communities, providing a meal, or any other gesture of kindness to, in some small way, repay them for their hard work, service, and loyalty. You have all restored our faith in humanity.
