Grateful Yogini Mindful Movement

I believe to my core that ANYONE & EVERYONE can benefit from yoga and meditation.  I believe that ANYONE & EVERYONE can do some form of yoga and/or meditation no matter their current condition.  I believe that ANYONE & EVERYONE can find a new level of peace and strive to become the best version of themselves by adding yoga and meditation to their life.

My sobriety date is May 26, 2016.  After 32 years of floundering, trying to find my purpose, I finally found it through my triumph over addiction, alcohol specifically.  I have to add that it was the hardest thing I have ever had to do but it scares me to think what my life would be like without that chapter of my life.  Grateful Yogini was born to help others feel the same level of peace as I do today.  After I got rid of the booze, I realized I was left with the same problems as everyone around me; same stuff, different coping mechanism.   Therefore, even though my eye opener was alcoholism, my issues were the same things that the next person struggles with.  My Snap Shot Story

The money gathered will help me open and get Grateful Yogini's yoga studio up and running so I can help more people find their breath and peace.  I am making, with your help, Grateful Yogini a MINDFUL MOVEMENT.  This is so much more than just yoga.  It is a movement to help people look in the mirror and say “I am ok.”  And soon after, “I am great.” And soon after that, show other people how they got so awesome. (ie. RIPPLE EFFECT)   If we all kept our sides of the street clean, all our streets would be clean.  Make sense? GY helps show how to keep your street clean and in turn everyone else’s as well.

Also, i want Grateful Yogini to be a place that helps my teachers continue to grow their brand; so they can continue to spread their good and grow their business, if that’s what they so choose.  As they grow, GY gets to grow.

Grateful Yogini is attached to a club basketball facility.  When I met the guys from Powerhouse Hoops I knew we were a match.  To them it is more than just basketball as well.  They have created an environment for kids/young adults to come and developed their life and basketball skills on and off the court.  Part of that program is yoga, stretch, breath & meditation.  As a high school athlete I would have killed for this opportunity.  This makes me extremely passionate about helping these kids not only with injury prevention but more importantly, to me, their head game.

The studio is set to open in August so the funds are needed as soon as possible.

There are so many people that are suffering and striving to be better.  The support shown by your donation would mean those people get that opportunity.  It also allows me to be the one that gets to help them along with my amazing team.  It would mean I have another opportunity to give back and be of service to my community.

The importance of gratitude in my life is no secret.  I put it in my business name for heavens sake.  The level of gratitude I would feel for your donation would be immeasurable.  I would forever be grateful and you would forever be a part of Grateful Yogini and the mindful movement I am passionate about creating.  Its going to be BIG!
