Grateful Heart Animal Sanctuary

Grateful Heart Animal Sanctuary (GHASi) needs your generosity and help! We have a vision!  "People Helping Animals.  Animals Healing People". Here is your chance to be part of the start up of a nonprofit organization whose mission is to give sanctuary to farm animals who need it the most.  Those who have been abused, abandoned, neglected or are in threat of being euthanized because they are just simply old, looked at as useless and are no longer wanted by their owners. Our mission is to take in these animals, give them lots of love and help them to trust again.  To safeguard them from further harm at the hands of humans.  To give them nourishment, not only of the body, but also of the mind and spirit. To let them know that they are loved unconditionally and all they have to do is simply BE.  We wish to promote community involvement through volunteer programs. As we grow, we plan to have programs for those with special needs, Veterans, and other populations that could benefit from the healing nature of these beautiful animals. A large hurdle has been achieved which is securing a parcel to be the home of Grateful Heart Animal Sanctuary, but there is so much more that is needed and we need your help. There is fencing that needs to be installed.  Animal housing that needs to be erected. Medical supplies that need to be purchased.  Feed that needs to be purchased.  Water troughs, food troughs and other supplies that need to be purchased. A livestock/horse trailer needs to be attained.  A Veterinary Fund needs to be established to keep the animals healthy and to be able to provide proper care for them if an emergency should arise.  Start Up Fees that have been incurred and need to be paid.  Business Liability and Accident Insurance premiums that need to be paid.  As well as other expenses as they come up. Grateful Heart Animal Sanctuary, Inc.  is 100% volunteer run.  No one is getting paid any compensation.  Every cent of your hard earned money goes towards Grateful Heart Animal Sanctuary, Inc. so that we can make the sanctuary the best we can for those animals we take in and care for.  Every cent donated, no matter the amount, is truly appreciated and will make a difference!  So much has to be done before we can begin to take these animals in.  Please help us reach our goal.
