When you have been an independent creative craftsman and musical performer for all of your life, it is sometimes hard to face the realities of the human body's frailties. Nick Spino ,has for many decades been building structures and furniture of substance, function and beauty,framing homes, building outdoor furniture,designing and building life saving structures like Lifeguard stands, used along many New Jersey beachfronts. Nick has also provided many years of musical entertainment as a drummer and percussionist with numerous Jersey based bands. Nick is a survivor of Superstorm Sandy, which essentially erased any financial cushions he had prepared for his advancing years. Nick is now in a situation where he requires both shoulder and hip surgery to allow him even simple mobility, never mind the ability to swing a hammer...use a saw...or wield a drumstick. As is the case with many self-employed individuals, Nick is underinsured with regard to health care coverage... and as we shared earlier, Superstorm Sandy ate through whatever savings Nick had accumulated. Nick has ALWAYS been there for friends...families...musicians...even strangers in need, and he needs our help right now. He needs help in covering the surgical and associated recovery and living costs until he is able to return to work....doing what he loves to do...and is a master at. Building, creating, sharing and performing. Your consideration of this amazing human is very much appreciated...and as a firm believer in Karma...Nick will certainly be returning positive vibes to you, your family and your life !
