This year - 2025 - is the 400th anniversary of education in Grasmere.

During this incredible landmark year we are raising much needed funds to support the future of the school. We want education in this beautiful village to thrive for another 400 years.

Securing the future of education in Grasmere requires investment, especially in our school building. We are beginning by raising £50,000 to begin the process of adding a new classroom. This will enable the school to start using the old hall again, for assemblies, sports, P.E. and lunches.

We (the community connected to the school) would love any support you are able to give us so that we can reach our target, and support the children of Grasmere for many years to come.

All funds raised will be spent improving the buildings and facilities at Grasmere Primary School. We hope to raise enough money to extend the footprint of the school with an additional classroom. If we do not raise enough to do so, all money raised will be spent on improving the existing buildings.
