Grapple Fake News Fix Startup Funds

Last year, I quit my five year career as a newspaper reporter. I grew weary of the pervasive fake news that has poisoned our national discourse and made social media miserable, and I set out to find a software solution that would help fight fake news.

Last month I founded Grapple, a concept for an artificial intelligence program that will run inside internet browsers like Safari, Firefox and Chrome. It will alert news readers and social media users to potential problems with anything they are reading, and will show where content originated and who has changed, shared or copied it.

We are in the early phases of developing the software, qualified for two startup investor conferences in March and need your help covering basic expenses. So far we have created a website, and have successfully attracted online attention in only two weeks. Now we need to prepare professional grade video and slideshow material to show investors, and begin software development.

To get a prototype together in time to make a difference in our disasterous national discourse, we need as much  help as we can get. Everything helps, no donation is too small.
