There are not enough pages to write what an amazing man Grant was. He was a loving husband, father, son, sibling, friend and coach. He will be missed by so many. His dry sense of humor, where he could have a straight face, but say the funniest things. Being goofy and laughing was one of the greatest things about him.
Grant touched the lives of so many throughout his life. From teaching in Korea (where he met Sunny), to coaching Russell in baseball (where he was admired by his players), to his sharing his Dhalias with strangers across the nation.
Sunny has been dealing with her own health issues. She has a lung disease, Interstitial Lung Disease, that entails hardening of her lungs. She will ultimately need a lung transplant. Because of this, she is unable to work. But Sunny is a fierce fighter, and doing everything she can to conquer this disease.
Please keep Sunny and Russell in your thoughts and prayers as they navigate this next chapter of life without Grant. It will be hard on both of them, but they know that they have a strong community behind them to help them get back on their feet.
This fund was created to help Sunny pay for rent and living expenses for a while. It will help her with medical bills, as they will continue to grow. A portion will go to Russell as he prepares to go to college and begin adulthood.
Please give what you can. Any amount is gracious and will be appreciated greatly.
