Liza and Sam’s son Grant, who recently turned 5 months on Saturday March 5, was hospitalized with Bacterial Meningitis last Wednesday (3/1/2017)
Today (3/6/2017), although it has been a difficult time, he is able to breathe on his own as his breathing tube was removed. Liza and Sam are able to hold Grant for the first time in almost a week, which has been heartbreaking, not to do and is a blessing to be able to. Doctors are currently weening him off sedation to see if he comes to in the next day or two. Soon Grant will embark on his journey to recovery by consulting with a neurologist as well as therapy to regain what was lost during this horrible situation.
We want to thank everyone who has lifted this family in prayer and everyone who continues to help. This was really rough on all of us who love this little guy, but not as rough as it has been to his amazing parents. We pray that God gives them strength, every day, and we know that today’s development is only the beginning of a long road to recovery.
We want to help Liza and Sam with what we know will be a heavy road to recovery and hope you can help as well. They are going to be in the hospital for at least 21 days and we want to help ease any financial burned and medical bills.
Any help is much appreciated and thank you for your love and support.
