Grant, a 39-year-old husband and father, has faced an unimaginable battle since his diagnosis with brain cancer at the age of 36. His journey began in 2023 after a seizure in his kitchen, with no prior medical history to hint at the challenges ahead. Since then, Grant has undergone two clinical trials, multiple rounds of chemotherapy and radiation, and four craniotomies in an attempt to fight this aggressive illness.

In February of this year, Grant experienced paralysis on his left side, drastically altering his lifestyle and the dynamics of his family. His wife, Melissa, has valiantly balanced working full-time as a nurse while also caring for Grant and their three children.

Recently, while Melissa was at work, Grant suffered another seizure, leading to a serious fall. Upon arriving at the Mayo Clinic, they discovered a small brain bleed from the fall and conducted an MRI. The news was devastating: cancer had spread to four new spots in his brain, including the brain stem. The medical team informed the family that the cancer is progressing more rapidly than anticipated, and unfortunately, no further treatment options are available. They recommended that Grant spend his remaining time with his loved ones.

In light of this development, we are hoping to raise funds to allow Melissa and her children quality time with Grant for the last few weeks of his life. Our goal is to help alleviate some of the burden from the medical expenses as well as daily living costs during this incredibly difficult time.
