Grant Popick’s Mitzvah Project

Hi. I can’t wait to celebrate my bar mitzvah with you.

For my mitzvah project, I am raising money for the Ukraine Crisis Fund run by the World Union for Progressive Judaism (WUPJ). The fund helps Ukrainians who have been displaced by the war to obtain food, finds them safe places to live, and aids the communities that are sheltering the refugees.

While there are so many charities doing important work, I chose this one because it focuses on the ideals of my Torah portion, giving to your community and individuals who are in need.
