Please support Grant Bird & his family during his recovery

Our close friend and colleague, Grant a well-known figure in the poultry industry too all underwent vascular surgery earlier this week. While that was successful following the surgery he has experienced several strokes, further emergency surgery was unsuccessful resulting in parts of his brain being affected.

He is currently in Melbourne, where he has been transferred from ICU to the Neuro/Stroke ward. His ability to communicate is limited, and he cannot move the right side of his body. Additionally, he is unaware of the day, month, or even his own name. The family is hopeful that he can be moved back to Geelong soon.

Grant is facing a lengthy recovery, and we want to come together to support him and his family during this difficult period. Whether it’s for medical bills, living expenses, or simply providing some peace of mind, any contribution will have a meaningful impact.

He has always been there for others, and now it’s our turn to stand by him and his family.

Let’s join forces to help lighten their financial burdens so they can concentrate on being there for Grant and aiding him in his healing and recovery journey.
