Grainger and Beth Williams
Donation protected
Hi, my name is Barbara Allen and this fund raiser is for Grainger Williams who recently suffered a devastating stroke. He is left greatly debilitated at this time, and at only 50 years old, is blindsided by a medical emergency that was quite unexpected. Grainger’s wife, Beth, is a friend of mine and of Michele Hoisington, and together we thought their story should be publicized through this amazing forum. It is going to be a very long road ahead for them. Thank you, in advance, for much needed prayers and for any donations possible. Their story follows. ❤️
On July 14th, our lives were turned upside down when Grainger (50) suffered a level 23 stroke. When the nurses woke him up after two surgeries and being intubated for 48 hours - he had lost all movement on his left side and was extremely confused and disoriented. Over the last few weeks, he has worked to regain some movement in his left leg, but his left arm still remains paralyzed. He has been given a timeline of about two more weeks until he is discharged from the hospital with plans to continue his treatment in an outpatient facility. My two daughters and I have been working tirelessly to be by his side as much as possible, while also preparing our home to best care for Grainger upon discharge. He will need so much support - medically, physically, mentally, and spiritually as he continues his treatment to regain his mobility and full mental capacity. Our whole family is embarking on this financially strenuous journey, and we are so thankful for anything that anyone is able to donate on this long road ahead. Thank you for your kindness.
