Grandparents Lost Everything in Holiday Farm Fire

Donation protected
Hi my name is Kaylee and my grandparents, Renee and Ode Mejia, just lost everything in the Holiday Farms Fire in Oregon. Three years ago they retired to the Holiday Farm RV park in Rainbow, Oregon…nobody told them retirement would take this kind of twist.

On September 7th, the firefighters came to their door and gave them 5 minutes to evacuate to Mackenzie River high school. While my grandma gathered the dogs and their medication, my grandpa was running door to door helping the firefighters evacuate as many individuals as possible. After making it to the evacuation site, he went even went around tracking down each resident of their RV park to make sure everyone was accounted for. If you knew my grandpa you would know this is just the kind of guy he is... always putting other people first.

Once at the high school the fire moved so quickly they were evacuated again to Thurston high school in Springfield, Oregon.  All they were able to save was their dogs, their car, and the clothes they were wearing, everything else was a total loss. My grandma lost her wedding rings, the flag she was given from the Navy when my Uncle Ray died, as well as a large box of family history research.

Although my grandma can never replace those family momentos, I am starting this gofundme to try and help my Grammy and Papa get back on their feet with things that are replaceable. Please share with family and friends on social media and DM me with any questions... Anything helps. Thank you.
