Hello, first and foremost I would like to thank you for stopping by. I’m starting this go fund me page to possibly seek donations from kind people that are willing to lend a hand to my grandparents, in order to help them defray some of the costs replace a portion of their loss. It’s been hard for them, especially these past few months since the apartment they’ve been staying at forever was burnt down. 

The fire, which broke out in their home has completely damaged their bedroom and washroom and rapidly spread into the living room and the rest of the home. Thus resulting in the entire home being unsalvageable from the fire due to the smoke damage all over. With the smoke residue and toxins floating around the air, they were forced to move out of their beloved home and give up all their personal belongings to avoid any further health complications. Thankfully, no one was hurt when this fire broke out. But when my grandparents expected to come home for a good night sleep, they were shocked to learn that their home got burned into its current state. 

Due to the pandemic these past 2 years it’s been very difficult for my grandparents. Prior to the world event they would go to the library, check out new establishments, and have dinners with their children and grandchildren on a weekly basis. Overall they especially love this community and the people they’ve met.

A little back story to my grandparents, they moved to Canada as immigrants for a better life and seeking education for their young children. Moving to Canada with absolutely nothing, they worked hard to build a foundation for not only themselves but for everyone around them and their families. They are absolutely love the community they now live in and are completely destroyed because of these events. Although they are still battling through the emotional and mental stress this incident has caused them, they have not given up to mend what they have accomplished in life so far. It truly pains me to see them heartbroken over the loss of what they call ‘their everything’.
