Grandpa Steve- Car Accident Victim
Donation protected
Hello friends and family, together with my siblings, I am raising funds for my Grandfather. Steve Eacker was a victim in a terrible car accident on April 3. He was driving his beloved convertible (yes, the one that makes him smile from ear to ear and has him feeling 25 again every time he drives it), when a woman ran him off the road resulting in his car rolling and him being ejected from the vehicle. He has broken his back, as well as many bumps and bruises that are sure to contribute to his pain for the foreseeable future. We are so unbelievably lucky to still have GRANDPARENTS in our lives at our ages, and especially so after today’s events. Unfortunately, the driver that hit him, did not have insurance. Not only will my Grandparents be burdened by the cost of the loss of their vehicle, but also the ongoing medical expenses that are to come (not to mention the pain and suffering this will cause at his age). Grandpa is 75 years young -and as stubborn as they come- anyone who knows him knows this… But anyone who knows him also knows how selfless he has been his entire life, dropping absolutely everything for family and friends still to this day. Our grandparents are on a fixed income at this point in their lives, after a long life of hard work. This is not something they deserve to deal with. If you are able, please consider contributing to some financial relief for them. If you are unable to donate, please give them a call and let him know how happy we all are to still have him around. Thanks so much, everyone. Please hug your loved ones, especially those grandparents!!
Most importantly, we are so so grateful that he is ok.
