My grandpa Leroy is currently in the hospital, facing the end of his life and awaiting open heart surgery. The doctors have given him a 70% chance of survival, and our family is preparing for whatever comes next. This has been an incredibly difficult time for all of us, filled with uncertainty and worry as we try to support him through his treatment and make sure he feels loved and cared for.

As we wait for his surgery, we are also facing the reality of end-of-life costs.
