Larry Bulgin loves life! He is a 61 year old father of two and the absolute love of Leslie’s life. Larry & Leslie have 13 grandchildren between them. Larry is funny and sarcastic, with a tough exterior that can not overshadow his very big heart. ♥️ He has been an active member of the community for decades, and has touched the lives of hundreds of individuals in San Luis Obispo County through selfless volunteer work. He has enjoyed “life on life’s terms” for over 24 years, clean and sober.
Larry Bulgin has been on dialysis for kidney failure for some time now. He was very happy to hear, from U.C.L.A. Hospital, that he would be considered for a kidney transplant. During the extensive testing the medical staff discovered that that Larry’s liver is highly damaged and that he needs surgery on his heart since 80% of 3 arteries are clogged.
••Despite how dire these conditions may seem, the highly skilled team of physicians at U.C.L.A. Medical Center are ‘very hopeful that Larry can make a full recovery, step by step, with proper care.••
U.C.L.A. is located 3 hours south of their home on the Central Coast of California. As you can imagine, their expenses are rapidly piling up. They are both staying positive and have had an outpouring of emotional support. Close friends have helped to supplement the initial week long trip to Los Angeles, C.A., which was very much appreciated. Now that Larry and Leslie will be staying there for an undisclosed amount of time, they need our support more than ever! No donation is too small and every prayer, positive thought, light, and love sent their way is welcomed. Larry wants to make more memories with his family and friends... and once fully recovered, ride to the coast on his Harley, with Leslie by his side, once again.
