Grandpa Joe "Chito" Funeral

With the recent passing of my grandpa, Jose “Chito” Ignacio Macias, my family is now faced with expensive funeral costs. My mom, Cathy, has fronted this money for the time being but it has put her in a vulnerable financial situation. We are asking for your support in recuperating these costs during this sad and hectic time.

We appreciate this greatly, and if you are unable to donate (as it is a hard time for many people at the moment) we ask you to keep our family in your thoughts and prayers during this time.

Thank you,
Terrones Family

Jose Ignacio Macias, 77, passed away on July 10, 2020 in La Puente, California. Born on February 1, 1943 in El Paso (Ysleta), Texas, he was the son of Daniel and Francisca Macias.

He attended Cathedral Catholic High School. He was employed with ABC Unified School District in Cerritos, California and retired after 30 years. He was a lifelong Catholic who had a strong faith in God.

He will be remembered for his kind, humble, positive, and uplifiting spirit. He loved collecting antiques and old cars. He loved family road trips and hosting family parties. He was an impeccable dresser and was greatly known for his signature fedora style hats. He was the true definition of family first.

He is survived by his children Evalinda Miller, Cathy Terrones, and Jose Daniel Macias, 6 grand children, 4 great-grandchildren (soon to be 5), 4 siblings and numerous nieces and nephews, all whom he loved immensely.

He was predeceased by his parents and siblings Carmen, Salvador and Alfonso. It gives us great comfort that they are all together again.
