Hey fam,

Our hearts are heavy as we share that our beloved Abuelo passed away on 2/19/25. My sister and uncle traveled to Puerto Rico to say our goodbyes and arrange his funeral, which came out to $2,000. Now, as we bring him home, we are also facing the reality of what comes next—especially for our Abuela. She is unable to care for herself in a variety of ways so we will need to bring her to a care facility for the time being but our ultimate goal is to come back to a home that is beautiful and livable. Our Abuelo was our Abuela’s caretaker, her partner, and her sense of home.

With him gone, we need to make sure she’s safe, comfortable, and supported in the house they built together. There are essential repairs that need to be made so she can not only stay in her home but truly thrive in it. We’re reaching out for any help to cover the funeral costs and home repairs.
