Grandma's Fight

To all of my family and friends,

Many of you know my grandmother and her situation and if you do not know her, she is the strongest, most amazing woman, fighting for her life everyday. In 2009, she was diagnosed with Breast Cancer. In 2013 it came back and has now spread to many other places. Today we learned of the news that she will be entering into hospice where she will be the most comfortable. 

My papa/ her husband (Steve) and my mother/ her daughter (Mandy) have both had to take a leave from their jobs unpaid while the three of us stay with grandma to take care of her as someone needs to be with her 24/7.  I took a lot of time today thinking of how I could help more because I see how much everyone is struggling. Not only will this money help the both of them over the next few weeks and hopefully months, but it will allow my papa to take care of some of the unpaid bills they still have, and also any services she may decide to have.

I love my grandmother and my family with all my heart, I cannot thank you enough for taking the time to read my story and for your consideration.
