Grandma Jean’s Funeral Expenses

Donation protected

Our Wife/ Mother/ Grandmother/ Great-Grandmother/ Sister/ Aunt/ Cousin/ Friend Jean Begay began her journey into the Spirit World on March 1, 2020. We are organizing this GoFundMe to raise money for her funeral expenses. Anything helps. We greatly appreciate all of your support during this difficult time.

Jean Begay loved and valued her family more than anything. At family gatherings, she always told us to love each other, care for each other, and help one another. We were always surrounded by her love.

She was a very talented and creative seamstress, who enjoyed creating things for her children and grandchildren. She loved playing cards, Yahtzee, and board games with her family. Her favorite sports teams were the Lakers and Raiders. One of the ways she showed her love was through her cooking and baking, by always having food prepared for family and guests. She deeply cherished having her family together at her well decorated home during the holiday season, where laughter, food, and joy were shared with one another.

Jean loved her community and was deeply involved with the Southern California Indian Center, formerly known as the Orange County Indian Center. As a businesswoman, she started the Jean Begay Food Booth. Her dedication and commitment to her community and her love for her friends and family will continue to shine on through future generations.
