Grandma Irene’s Bucket List

Dear Friends, Family, and Kind-hearted Peers,

I come to you with a heart full of gratitude and a request close to my soul. My beloved grandmother, the cornerstone of our family, is battling multiple myeloma. Born in 1939, she's seen life's joys and challenges with grace and resilience, and now it's our turn to honor her spirit by fulfilling her bucket list dreams.

As her biggest advocate, I've dedicated my life to providing her and my mother with a life they truly deserve. Despite my career as a catastrophe property adjuster, circumstances forced me to resign to ensure my grandmother receives the best care she needs and much need love and support during this difficult time. It's a sacrifice I gladly make to see her smile every day and she knows she is loved.

Grandma embodies love, warmth, and wisdom. She's not just a grandma to us; she's a grandma to all, spreading love and kindness wherever she goes. Now, as she fights this battle, I invite you to join us in making her dreams come true.

Below are some of the adventures and experiences she's always longed for:

A trip to Las Vegas! Grandma has always dreamed of visiting the legendary Vegas. Let's make it happen and create unforgettable memories together.

Music and Dance classes: She's a music enthusiast at heart and I would love to take her to some classes to master her favorite dance moves and have her feel the heart and soul of music again. She is a serious expert when it comes down to chi-town stepping as well. She is huge Barry White fan and has been listening Chicago Radio station V103 for 30 years. Challenged her on old school music. I dare you.

Family reunion: Grandma's joy is being surrounded by loved ones. Let's organize a grand family reunion to celebrate her life and legacy.

Spa retreat: A relaxing spa getaway would bring her much-needed comfort and relaxation during this challenging time. We are currently waiting clearance to ensure the treatment she is receiving is working effectively. She still likes to do self care by with getting her hair done, eating healthier, shopping for clothes and anything snippy.

Personalized keepsakes: From custom-made jewelry to a personalized photo album, let's create meaningful keepsakes she'll cherish forever.
