Grandfather's Funeral Costs
Donation protected
Let me start by saying, it is extremely difficult to even be making something like this for my family. I have grown up with a mom who has worked so hard my entire life to provide for me and has never hesitated to help others when needed. I am creating this on her and my family's behalf. When I was little, my mom's brother passed away, and not too many years after that, her mom left us. It fell on her shoulders entirely to pay for the costs of everything because she was the hardest working person within our family. I don't know how she did it and I'll never understand her superhero capabilities at times. Yesterday evening, on Thanksgiving day of all days, my mom discovered that my grandfather had passed away. At this point in our lives, her younger brother Larry (my uncle) is far away and is now the only immediate family she has besides myself. Along with the cost of the funeral and services we would like to have for my grandfather, we would also like to bring Larry to Chicago one last time to see his father. Larry and my grandparents bond was not something to be taken lightly and I know if he doesn't get the chance to say goodbye, he will never forgive himself. It's hard for me to get this personal writing this and to share some of the tragedies that have been dealt to my family, but I can't sit by and watch my mom try to take on another death in this way - with stress getting in the way entirely of the grieving process. I am going to help as much as I possibly can, but anyone willing to donate to help us would be forever appreciated. Any dollar helps. Thank you for even taking the time to read this and for even considering helping us. ❤️
