These animals are not just residents—they are family. Abuelo Antonio treats each life he saves with the same reverence and care as a sacred being. He believes animals are not beneath us but our equals—our brothers, sisters, and wise teachers.

What was once a dumping ground for highway construction is now 150 hectares of living paradise—a thriving refuge for endangered wildlife and rescued domestic animals. At the heart of it all is Grandfather Antonio, a humble guardian in his late seventies who has spent the last 25 years restoring this land and offering protection to the most vulnerable beings on Earth.
