After an extraordinary season and some nail-biting fixtures, our Junior Hurlers have earned their place in the Kilkenny Junior Hurling Championship County Final, a moment that fills everyone connected with Graignamanagh GAA with immense pride.

This achievement is particularly special as it marks the first time since 1972 that a Graignamanagh Junior hurling team has reached a County Final. For generations of players, supporters, volunteers and families, the club has been at the heart of our community. To have the opportunity to create a new chapter in our history and to follow in the footsteps of those who proudly wore the jersey before us is something we will cherish forever.

All year, this group of players, together with their management and backroom team, have shown unwavering commitment, sacrifice and dedication. Countless hours of training, preparation and hard work have gone into reaching this stage. They have represented our Club with tremendous pride and have inspired our community every step of the way.

Reaching a County Final is a tremendous achievement, but it also brings significant additional costs for the club. Match preparation, facilities, equipment, team expenses and the many logistical requirements associated with a County Final all place an added financial burden on the club.

As a community-based and volunteer-led organisation, we are asking our members, supporters, former players, friends of the club and the wider Graignamanagh community to consider making a contribution towards these costs.

There is absolutely no obligation to contribute. We fully appreciate the financial pressures that many individuals and families are currently facing, and we understand that not everyone is in a position to make a donation. Any contribution, no matter the amount, is entirely voluntary and will be sincerely appreciated.

For those who can help, your support will go directly towards ensuring our players are given every opportunity to prepare for this historic occasion and towards helping Graignamanagh GAA meet the additional costs associated with reaching a County Final.

More than anything, this is a time for our community to come together. Whether you contribute, attend the match, help in any way you can, or simply cheer the team on from the sidelines, your support means the world to the players and everyone involved with the club.

Thank you for standing behind this team and for continuing to support Graignamanagh GAA. All of you have been with us on this journey and we look forward to sharing what promises to be a very special day in the history of our club with all of you.
