Hi, I am Natalie Graham’s sister . I am fundraising on behalf of my brother’s funeral.

This was very unexpected that my brother was going to pass, unfortunately he had mental health problems and took his own life.

He had been suffering for quite sometime and we see him turn from a confident but shy man who would make jokes and love to be around his family. He was not able to see how much he was loved and isolated himself from me and my family.

Sadly the last contact I had with him face to face was when he was going to commit suicide in June, I tried to get him help from the police to try and get him sectioned they wanted me to take him into the crisis hub, where he was told that he was out of the catchment and would have to wait for a bed to become available.

he did not get assessed and waited for 36 hours in the waiting room. I was not able to stay with him because of my children needing me and us living over 100miles away. If I had have stayed with him then who knows it could be a different story. He wouldn’t talk to the mental health because he was so frightened that people were trying to hurt him and even believed that I was trying to set him up as he would put it.

He was allowed to walk out of the hospital and did not get the care he desperately needed.

I do not have any immediate family to turn to as both our Mum and Dad have passed away.

I am on a low income and do not have any savings so I’m having a hard time to raise the funds for his funeral. If you could even donate a small amount I would be extremely grateful as the date is getting closer now and I’m not close to getting the funds that I would need.
