My dad passed away on the 6th February 2021 at 5 o clock in the morning. He caught coronavirus 3 weeks ago and was very sick from the day he caught the virus until the day he died. Me and my family loved him very much and miss him dearly. We did not expect this to happen and had no plans for his funeral this early in his or our lives.

These past 3 weeks have been the toughest time of our life. With our dad catching the virus, within days he was put in a coma, then put on a ventilator, was being fed through a tube in his nose, had 2 cardiac arrests and his lungs were filling with water. We were then told he was making a slow recovery, but then his kidneys started to fail and there was nothing more thehospital could do. We had a phone call early in the morning explaining to us that we need to come and say our last goodbyes which we prayed he would hear.No one should have tosee their parent the way we had to, swollen and looking like a completely differentperson. To then make the decision of which 2 family members should sit with him and turn off his life support and hold his hand while his heart stops beating and he slowly slips away. 

We are asking for you to donate whatever you can to try and help me and my family give him the funeral he deserves.
