Our brother, friend, father, partner, cast-mate, band-mate, soul-mate - the hugely beloved  Graham Matters - passed away suddenly, peacefully, on Friday May 7.

His funeral is scheduled to be held from 10.15am Wednesday June 16, at the Altona Memorial Park Chapel of Repose, 2-14 Dohertys Rd, Altona North, Melbourne - followed by a wake at the Altona Sports Club, 11 Altona Rd, Seaholme, from 12.00 noon until 4.00pm.

Graham’s friend Wolf proposed to pay for Graham’s funeral by withdrawing from super, but I suggested that there would be many people who would be very willing to contribute to a crowd-funding effort- to ensure that Graham is farewelled appropriately without decimating Wolf’s hard-earned super. 

So here I am, doing exactly that.

I’ve now received a copy of the quote ($6298.00) from Simplicity Funerals. 
I propose we aim for $8000, to cover that quote, plus two urns so Graham’s ashes can be shared between Wolf here in Oz, and Fiona and Ace in the UK, and hopefully some money to cover some food and drinks at Graham’s wake. 

So I appeal to the HAiR tribe, the Jesus Chris Superstar family, the Rocky Horror's, the HERO's, the Ned Kelly gang, the Boy's Own McBeth maniacs, the band members, the studio pals, the Oz fans, the Debonairs, the National Gallery of Victoria compadres, and anyone else who knew and loved Graham to contribute what you can AND share this link to whomsoever might wish to attend Graham’s farewell and/or contribute to this funding effort.
