Hi, my name is Kait Sorensen and my friends, Miles and Angilyn Graff, and their 3 beautiful girls, had disaster strike their home when it flooded on August 16th after an intense rainstorm that backed up the city drainage system and sent feet of water into the home they purchased and renovated just one month earlier, and had moved into the day before the flood. Miles works as a Victim Advocate for child and teens who have experienced domestic violence or sexual assault, and he spends so much of his time going above and beyond for everyone else, now it’s time for us to step in and take care of him! I have received permission from the Graff’s to setup this GoFundMe and all proceeds will be deposited to them directly.
The flooring and walls in their home were damaged beyond repair, and now the work begins to replace so much of the home they have spent so much time preparing to move into already.
The Graff’s and their girls moved into their house the day before the flood, so many boxes and some furniture were still in the garage as they were beginning to put their new forever home together. Most of their belongings were destroyed and damaged. Some of it was carried away entirely.
Help us make sure this beautiful family and these sweet girls who just started school and now have nothing, can have the resources they need for repairs and to replace the necessities they lost in the flooding.
Their insurance has denied their claim as an Act of God and without a specific type of flood insurance, they are devastated and feeling abandoned after experiencing a traumatic event.
Please donate and share where you can!
