Graeme's Memorial
Donation protected
On the 24th March 2021, the world lost a wonderful Dad, cherished son, honourable brother and much-loved friend. Graeme will always be remembered for his larger than life character, infectious laugh and warm nature.
In loving memory of Graeme, Graeme's family intends to raise money for a memorial in his name. Graeme was a long-standing member of Haslemere Hockey Club, a club that held close to his heart. A keen player, coach and umpire, his contribution to the club will never be forgotten.
His Family think it would be fitting to put all donations towards a memorial project at the Haslemere club. The project will benefit all club members and will include a plaque in Graeme's Memory. The exeat project will be decided between Waverly County Council, Woolmer Hill Sports Association and the family in the near future. Initial plans are to revamp the spectators' area on Pitch 1.
The target set is £3,000, and any donations beyond this will be used to continue to help the club fund projects, as agreed with the family.
An update on the selected projects will be sent to donors at the end of May.
