Grae (Baz) from sad stroke to pumped up
Donation protected
Our friend Grae/Baz suffered a stroke last Tuesday. Yeah a flamin stroke, strewth. It's hit him hard, but you know Baz, he's already saying "it will be ok" and trying to make us laugh. He can't stand the thought of making people feel sad.
Baz is recovering in hospital, while the doctors are running heaps of tests to figure out what happened and what to do next. He’s being supported by his close family, including his amazing wife Zita. He’s doing his best to stay strong for them and his two young daughters.
Now, here is where we come in. Baz would never want to make a big deal of it (he'd probably say, "Shame!" for even suggesting this) but the truth is strokes aren't just physically brutal - they're a massive financial burden. He is going to need all the help he can get to pump back up.
Here's the deal: Baz's recovery isn't going to happen overnight. He'll need weeks of hospital care, months of therapy and a few things to help along the way. Your support will help cover things like: rehab therapy, mobility aids and home adjustments, medical costs, daily support, travel expenses and more.
It's going to take more than Baz's legendary optimism to get through this. Every little bit helps, whether it's $10, $50 or more. You'll be giving Baz the chance to focus on getting better (and let's be honest getting back to pumping us all up.) Nice work.
