Life can change in a moment.

On September 3rd, Grady was a high school senior with his whole future ahead of him. He had been attending flight school because he dreamed of joining the Air Force, becoming a pilot engineer, and flying himself.

Then, in a matter of seconds, a devastating plane crash changed his life and the lives of everyone who loves him.

In just two short weeks, Grady has endured catastrophic injuries, surgeries, hospitalization, and the beginning of what will be a long and difficult recovery.

Tomorrow, Grady is scheduled to come home.

Grady will be in a wheelchair for months, and his family now needs to make modifications to their home so he can safely move throughout the house and have the space he needs for rehabilitation and physical therapy. Those costs come on top of mounting medical expenses and other expenses his parents have incurred while staying near the hospital to remain by his side.

Many of you generously donated to the first GoFundMe created after the crash, and we cannot thank you enough. Over $5,000 was raised, and that support has already been an enormous blessing during some of the most frightening days this family has ever faced.

But the need did not end when Grady left the operating room, and it will not end when he leaves the hospital. He is coming home, and that is something worth celebrating. But his family now faces months of recovery, rehabilitation, home modifications, and other expenses that medical insurance does not cover.
