As I wrap up my dissertation and prepare for graduation in May, it's hard to believe I'm actually about to be Dr. Cody Flynn!

Several people have asked what I might want or need for a graduation gift. I could not have achieved this without the amazing help and encouragement from all of you, and your continued support means so much to me.

I believe I have all the material items I need, but I could use help with my student loans. Thankfully my Mom's GI Bill covered most of my graduate schooling, but I still have significant debt from my undergrad. I ended up using almost all my savings to finish the doctorate. Allina Health here in Minnesota offered me an amazing postdoctoral fellowship, but I won't be earning that sweet, sweet doctor pay for a while.

I have about $75k in student loans. My mom has been making the monthly payments for me, but as she continues to navigate her recent cancer diagnosis and prepares for retirement, I need to be able to take that debt over myself.

Anything you're able to donate would help immensely. I'm so excited to be able to reach this pinnacle, and I know it wouldn't have happened without all of you.
