'SHE HOLDS STILL' Objectification or Empowerment?

An exhibition exploring intimacy in film and delving into women's sexuality and the voyeuristic male gaze in different types of cinema.

My graduate university project will take the form of an exhibition and will consist of various photographs and projections which will depict my message visually for audience viewers to fully immerse themselves in. The purpose of this exhibition is to make awareness of the subject and not only that, it is to cover the purpose of this subjective intimate art and examine its reflection back onto humanity.

The funds that are raised from this crowd funder will be used for my event space, photography, licensing, materials, resources, hire & any other fees.

Any size donation would be wholeheartedly appreciated! This project holds a very special place in my heart and I have strived my whole three years at university to make something of this stature. Now that I have the opportunity to make this project real, I have an unbelievable amount of passion, drive and courage to make this exhibition perfect and raise awareness of the subject. As well as acting as an establishing point to what I would love to focus upon in the industry for after university.
