Grad student trying to finish college

Hey everyone,My name is Jacob Berry. I am a current student at Seattle University pursuing my masters in Criminal Justice with an emphasis in Victimization. So back in 2022, I started not feeling good and took a year off school. I thought I was doing too much with working long hours and being depressed. I finally went to the ER after dropping 30 pounds in 2 weeks, not having an appetite, drinking a lot of water, using the bathroom frequently, not able to hold my urine, and feeling very very fatigued after doing simple tasks. I found out I was in a diabetic ketoacidosis (DKA) state and was fighting for my life. I also found out that my blood sugar was super high and my A1C was off the charts. After two weeks I was able to get stabilized to go home. This got me feeling depressed at first, but then empowered because I fought through this and lived when many have died. Fast forward, I ended up going back to school and getting good grades and passing my classes. I now only have three quarters left in order to graduate. The problem is that since I took that year off, my cumulative pace requirement dropped. I thought with the plan the school and I made I got back on track, but they are just not telling me I fell short of what I needed and that my financial aid has been suspended. I cannot pay out of pocket as I have a lot of bills and they expect me to pay 12k out of pocket or do three payment plans of over 2.5k each month which I cannot do. I have tried to reach out to see what i can do to get financial aid and they just told me to apply to private loans, which I need a co-signer and I do not have that, so I am asking my community to help me with donating anything to help me fund my college. I am so close to the finish line and it would be appreciated. Even if you share this on your page that would be so helpful. My goals with this degree is I want to start a nonprofit helping youth succeed in life and teach them things that traditional school does not teach them like how to budget, how to save for rent, how to apply to colleges, what can you do after high school, how to do taxes, getting them to think about what they want to do in their lives and then have mentors in those fields that can guide them and help them. Thank you for reading my story, Jacob Berry
