WOOF PACK, WE NEED YOU.

Our sweet Gracie needs us. And this time, we need to ask for your help.

For an entire week, Gracie was on the run. Scared, alone, and doing everything she could to survive. We don't know what happened to her during those seven days, but somewhere along the way, Gracie sustained a deep wound to her head.

Was she hit by a car? Did she catch herself on a fence while trying to escape? We may never know exactly what happened. What we do know is that this poor girl has been through enough, and she desperately needs medical attention.

Gracie is currently at VCA Shoreline, where she needs treatment for her injury. And we're asking our incredible Woof Pack community to rally around her.

Gracie is an incredibly shy, skittish little soul. The world is a very scary place for her right now, and frankly, after everything she's been through, we can't blame her.

But here's the thing about Gracie.

When I first met her, despite all that fear, she let me pet her. It was a small gesture, but for a dog who is so utterly terrified of the world around her, it felt enormous.

Underneath all that fear is a sweet girl who desperately deserves to know what it feels like to be safe.

Our mission is simple: Get Gracie healthy, get her back to the pound, and then get her HOME.

Not just back into a kennel. Not just back to waiting. We want to see this girl heal, decompress, learn to trust, and eventually find a family who will show her that the world isn't always such a frightening place.

But first, we have to get her through this.

Waterbury Woof Pack is raising funds to cover Gracie's veterinary care, including treatment of her head wound and whatever additional medical attention she may need to recover.

We've asked a lot of our community, and you've never stopped showing up for these animals. Every single donation, no matter the size, gets us closer to giving Gracie the second chance she deserves.
