Gracie’s London Marathon fundraiser

On Sunday 27th April I will be participating in the London Marathon raising money for The National Autistic Society (NAS).

This charity means a lot as it has been a great resource for me since receiving my own diagnosis. I was diagnosed with Autism back in February 2023 and I have developed a huge passion to help other people in similar situations as I was in. The NAS play a huge role is providing support pre and post diagnosis. They have an array of online resources that people can access and they commission research about autism to help future generations.

I have never trained for a marathon before which comes with its own challenges physically and mentally. There are aspects of the marathon that will be made harder for me because of my Autism. The loud and busy environments will be overwhelming and the unfamiliar nature of the course and city will be challenging for me.

I am so proud to be supporting a charity which helps so many people like me. If you would like to donate to this cause it would be greatly appreciated.
