Heaven has called up another Angel. María Graciela Chávez was a mother, grandmother, great great mother, sister, and family and friend to many. She brought joy and love to many around her.

We lost our grandmother today at the age of 90. She was a beautiful person both inside and out.

She passed from complications from a stroke on 10/09/2022. She was surrounded by her family and those who loved her very much. We are deeply saddened by this sudden loss.

She was one of the greatest cooks, especially when making pupusas. No one could beat her. She had a smile that made all of us smile when we saw her. We knew well enough that she loved us all.

She left El Salvador seeking a better life for her family, and it's all because of her and her sacrifice that we are here today.

She was the matriarch, and she will be forever missed.
