Hello friends of Gracia!
In our restaurant, we are a family. A small, multifaceted, multi-talented, multi-lingual family. While we may come from different backgrounds, different countries, and bring different skillsets to the table, we all support and care for each other like brothers and sisters. We are proud to employ wonderful, caring, intelligent workers who have made Gracia a successful restaurant. Without each of our employees, we would not have transformed into the 4 year old Ballard staple that we are today. (We also cannot forget our amazing & diverse customer base who frequent our establishment, who we would like to thank for the continued support over these years!)
Due to the recent COVID-19 crisis, and the mandatory "Stay at Home, Stay Safe" policy put in place to help stall the spread of the virus, our restaurant has been forced to shut down dine-in service and our employees are out of work. This is an unprecedented event in which a concrete end is not yet in sight.
We have created this GoFundMe Campaign to help raise money for those hourly employees that have been hit the hardest during this shutdown, some of who may not be able to receive unemployment benefits and are in dire need of our help. If you have enjoyed our food, our drinks, and our service, we are looking to you for help. This money will go 100% directly to our employees and will not be retained by the business itself. Any donation amount is genuinely appreciated so that we can continue to support our dedicated employees!
