Grace's Goalie Gloves

Donation protected
Hi! My name is Grace Cobbold, I am 17 years old and I have been playing soccer for 13 years.

For much of this time, I have played goalkeeper and I know firsthand how important it is to have the right equipment when playing this position to prevent injury.

I've noticed that many organizations that run soccer equipment drives fail to collect equipment for goalies, such as goalie gloves.  I want to address this gap and give kids the chance to experience this exciting, unique position without getting hurt.

My goal is to raise $2,500, which will give me enough to purchase 100 pairs of goalie gloves for economically disadvantaged youth living in Canada and abroad.

I have teamed up with two non-profit organizations. One is United Play,  which will distribute the gloves that I purchase to youth soccer clubs in Guyana and Guatemala. The other organization is Kidz2kidz, which will hand out gloves in Canada.

If I raise more than $2,500, I will use the money to buy soccer balls and other goalkeeping equipment for these organizations.

Soccer has always been a big part of my life and I was always lucky enough to have the right equipment when on the field. I want to make sure that other kids who are passionate about playing goalie have the same protective equipment I do.

If you believe in giving kids the right equipment to play the sports they love, please make a donation and share this campaign: https://www.gofundme.com/GracesGoalieGloves
