In just a few weeks, I’ll be heading to Los Angeles to study at USC!

This year abroad is part of my Integrated Masters’ degree at the University of Oxford, and I’m incredibly grateful to have secured a place in an exciting, cutting-edge research lab at USC. It’s not just a scientific opportunity, but it also marks a deeply personal journey. For a long time, I’ve been praying for an environment where I can grow academically, creatively, and spiritually in a fresh way, and through a series of unexpected and beautiful alignments, USC felt like the answer.

As excited as I am, funding this year is a challenge. Living costs in LA are high, and because I’ll be in the U.S. on a J-1 visa, I legally can’t work while I’m there. That’s why I’ve created this GoFundMe: to ask for support in covering everyday essentials like food, transportation, and personal expenses so I can truly make the most of this experience without financial anxiety.
